Trident University and Knott’s Berry Farm to Host Military Families For A Day of Building Happy Memories
CYPRESS, Calif. (PRWEB) July 10, 2018 -- Trident University International (Trident) today announced details of its third annual Snowball Express event. The event, co-sponsored by partner Knott’s Berry Farm, will be held on Thursday, August 2nd, at Knott’s in Buena Park, CA.
Since 2006, Snowball Express has provided hope and new happy memories to the children of military fallen heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11. Further, the event connects the children and surviving spouses of the fallen with others going through the same experience.
“With nearly 80% of Trident’s students as active duty military, veterans, dependents, or serving in the National Guard, supporting the military and their families is a big part of who we are,” stated Travis Allen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Trident University. “Given the tremendous sacrifices these families have made have made to our country, it is our honor to support them through events like Snowball Express.”
In addition to Snowball Express, Trident University is also actively involved in Operation Gratitude – a non-profit, volunteer organization focused on lifting the spirits and meeting the evolving needs of the military and first responder communities.
Complimentary tickets are available for military families on a first-come, first-served basis. For information, visit the event page.
