In their The Mission Ready Monday™ series, the two organizations are holding intensive workshops to find solutions for grants, events, time management, branding and program evaluation for local nonprofits so they can build efficiencies and focus on their mission.

Support KC and Shipley Communications, LLC will hold an informative session on How to Handle Foundation Site Visits on July 23. This session will dive into tips by experts for site visits.

Site visits mean significant effort on the part of nonprofits for planning and preparation. Most nonprofits do not have sufficient resources of staff time and funds for site visits. Site visits may add stress to a staff already stretched thin with limited resources. In this month’s workshop, Support KC and Shipley Communications, LLC will offer some expert tips and tricks of the trade to the nonprofit participants. The workshop will focus on how to prepare for site visits from prospective foundations by focusing on organization’s mission.

Taking the right approach in preparing for site visits will save both time and effort. The workshop will help nonprofit participants gain an insight into the important aspects of preparing for site visits such as, focusing on organization’s mission.

November 19, 2018—Maintaining Your Social Media: What channel, what message and do you really need Snapchat?
December (TBD)—Program Evaluation: A lesson on writing realistic outcomes that are meaningful for the client, foundation, board and donors.
