M-Files Demonstrates Intelligent Information Management Solution for Office 365 at Microsoft Inspire 2018
DALLAS and LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) July 16, 2018 -- M-Files Corporation, the intelligent information management company, today announced its presence at Microsoft Inspire, Microsoft’s largest partner event, to showcase its seamless integration with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
M-Files accelerates Office 365 adoption through instant online and offline access to all enterprise documents and other information in network folders; SharePoint sites; CRM systems, such as Dynamics CRM and Salesforce; and ERP systems, such as Dynamics 365, GP, NAV and AX, NetSuite and SAP – all without requiring data migration.
M-Files is the only solution that provides unified access to data in any of the systems listed above directly within the Office 365 and SharePoint Online user interfaces, as well as via M-Files native applications for PCs and mobile devices. Furthermore, the M-Files platform includes an innovation called the Intelligent Metadata Layer that incorporates artificial intelligence, such as Microsoft’s Azure-based Computer Vision API, to automate how information is classified, organized and related, breaking down information silos and eliminating content chaos.
M-Files is uniquely aligned with Microsoft technology, including Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server and Active Directory. Deep Windows Explorer integration is also provided such that any Windows application is directly supported via standard commands, such as Open, Save and Save As, that everyone already knows how to use, minimizing the learning curve and increasing user adoption. Native support for Windows and Azure enables a truly seamless Microsoft-centric hybrid content services solution that can be deployed on-premises and in the cloud with an identical user experience and functionality across both. Customers can also mix elements of both, with some content and processes on-premises behind their firewalls, and others on Azure in the cloud. In effect, even if customers choose to deploy fully on-premises, M-Files makes them "cloud ready," such that they can move portions, or all, of their deployment to the cloud at any time.
“M-Files is better aligned with Microsoft than any other content services or information management solution available today,” said Scott Erickson, senior vice president of worldwide channel sales at M-Files. “The synergy between the M-Files intelligent information management platform and the Microsoft technology stack and ecosystem didn’t happen overnight – it’s the result of our longstanding relationship with Microsoft.”
In 2017, M-Files was recognized by Microsoft as a 2017 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for Finland, where M-Files was founded. To date, M-Files supports thousands of customers around the world, and an ecosystem of business partners in over 100 countries.
Erickson continued, "We're also often asked how M-Files fits with SharePoint, and it's best stated this way: if you're looking to extend your SharePoint investment with automated workflows, compliance support or records management, M-Files is hands down the best choice. Nothing else comes close."
M-Files will be showcasing demonstrations of the M-Files intelligent information management platform at booth #1522. Microsoft Inspire is taking place from July 15-19, 2018, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
