Rick Walsh Joins The Wilshire Group as a Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) July 18, 2018 -- The Wilshire Group, a leading healthcare consulting firm, has added Rick Walsh to its team as a Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant. In this role, Rick will focus on engagements with healthcare organizations with a goal of increasing efficiency and ease of use within the revenue cycle.

Previously, Rick was the Revenue Cycle Project Manager at St. Luke’s in Boise, Idaho where his role was managing the Revenue Cycle Workgroup which included HIM, HB, PB, Claims, Grand Central, Cadence, and all clinical charge capture through their Epic Implementation. Some key areas of focus for Rick were spearheading the implementation of Epic’s revenue cycle applications across the entire system and ensuring a streamlined, future state charge capture process.
Prior to joining The Wilshire Group, Rick worked at Epic for 3 years on the HB implementation team. Rick worked with numerous hospitals implementing hospital billing and charging, while serving as a customer revenue cycle lead. Rick also served as a charging application success owner where he worked with customer implementation teams to ensure a successful end to end charging implementation and internally within Epic developing tools to improve the implementation process.
Rick received his BA in Secondary Education from Edgewood College in Madison, WI. He currently lives in McFarland, WI with his wife and daughter.
