Benjamin P. Haden, MD, Joins Mattax Neu Prater Eye Center
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (PRWEB) July 18, 2018 -- In August of 2018, Mattax Neu Prater Eye Center officially welcomes Benjamin P. Haden, MD, to their eye care team. Specializing in cataract surgery and the management of glaucoma and macular degeneration, Dr. Haden will see patients at the practice’s main office in Springfield, Missouri, and will travel to its satellite locations in Lebanon, Branson, and Monett.
“I’m looking forward to working with the men and women of Mattax Neu Prater,” says Dr. Haden. “They’ve put together a team of experienced, compassionate professionals equipped to handle everything from eye exams and medical care to surgical eye care for a comprehensive range of diseases and conditions. The team has been very welcoming, and I’m eager to get to know the people and the community I’ll be serving.”
Dr. Haden began his education at Baylor University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After, Dr. Haden participated in the Anatomy Certification Program at Tulane Medical School Department of Structural and Cellular Biology, then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. While there, Dr. Haden served as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant during Anatomy and Histology for medical students. He went on to serve one year in internal medicine at Ochsner Health Systems and completed his ophthalmic residency at University of Texas - Southwestern.
