CHARLESTON, S.C., Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Thursday, Nov. 8, marks a full decade of Germain Dermatology's annual Sparkle Party, an event devoted to educating guests about the most current cosmetic dermatology treatments, procedures, and technology. While the Sparkle Party is always something the staff looks forward to celebrating, this year's event has an extra purpose: to honor the life of Dr. Marguerite Germain's mom, who went by the nickname "Mimzi" and passed away on Sept. 23, 2018.
Mimzi was the driving force behind the first Sparkle Party, and her vision grew it into the shining event it is today, complete with appetizers, cocktails, giveaways, discounts, live demonstrations, vendors, and more.
The Sparkle Party will also give potential and returning patients a chance to meet the newest members of the Germain Dermatology team, including Dr. Emily Kmetz, as well as the staff running the recently opened Summerville office.
The Art of Southern Charm author Patricia Altschul will also be at the Sparkle Party to sign copies of her book, which will be on sale for 30 percent off the night of the party. Altschul starred in the Bravo reality-TV series Southern Charm.
As for the cosmetic dermatology focus, attendees will learn about fat-reducing CoolSculpting® and EMSCULPT®, skin-tightening Ultherapy®, wrinkle-reducing BOTOX® and dermal fillers, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to address hair loss, collagen-boosting microneedling and Fraxel, Kybella® for a double-chin, the Halo® fractional laser system, the gene-targeting light therapy of Forever Young BBL, and customizable HydraFacial® and Clear + Brilliant treatments. Guests can also get information on Jane Iredale Cosmetics, Colorscience, and Dr. Germain's own Germain Rx skincare line.
The Sparkle Party is scheduled for Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 612 Seacoast Parkway in Mount Pleasant. There is no cost to attend, but since space will be limited, attendees are asked to reserve a space by calling (843) 881-4440.
Note that Germain Dermatology's new Summerville location will be closed for the day.
People who can't attend but who still want to enjoy the discounts available at the event can call and place orders during the hours of the Sparkle Party itself. Anyone can also order Germain Rx products online via germaindermatology.com. Enter SPARKLE18 at checkout to get the Sparkle Party discount.
