AMHERST, Ohio, Dec. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/
Two of the most popular models in Volkswagen history are on the ground and ready to go home with savvy buyers at Spitzer VW. The 2018 models of the Beetle and Jetta each offer a unique experience and have a lot to offer drivers in the increasingly competitive automotive marketplace. Since the 2018 Volkswagen Jetta and 2018 Volkswagen Beetle have arrived in the Spitzer VW showroom, it's rare that a potential customer doesn't at least stop by to at look at one, or both, of the cars. The sales team wants that excitement to spread as far as possible to people currently finding themselves in the thankless work of researching a new vehicle purchase. They have built profiles to help them get a better idea of what is new for the 2018 model year.
Not many models are as instantly recognizable as the Volkswagen Beetle. The 2018 Beetle will only strengthen its bond with its owners. A more powerful engine is now available with many Beetle trims. The turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine produces 174 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a precise six-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the fuel-sipping nature of the Beetle remains in place with fuel economy scores from the Environmental Protection Agency of 26 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway.
Additionally, the 2018 Volkswagen Beetle introduces a special edition trim. Called, the Coast, it has an exclusive exterior paint scheme and the dashboard is made from a material which resembles a surfboard.
The 2018 Volkswagen Jetta is a sharp-handling compact sedan with plenty of space for its passengers. Historically speaking, vehicles in this class have been maligned for being short on legroom for those sitting in the backseat – especially for those breaking six-feet tall. The 2018 Jetta defies conventional wisdom with nearly 40 inches of legroom for people sitting in the back. Storing items in the trunk is about as easy as one could expect in the compact sedan class. Drivers will have at least 15.5 cubic-feet of space, which can be expanded to even more by folding down the rear seat.
