2018 Phoenix Kidney Walk | Lerner and Rowe Gives Back
PHOENIX (PRWEB) April 01, 2018 -- Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys proudly announces its sponsorship and involvement with The Kidney Walk. Scheduled for Sunday April 8th, visit Lerner and Rowe’s booth at Chase Field and also, say hello to their team while participating in the walk. Registration begins at 7 am, the Opening Ceremony at 8:30 and the walk kicks off at 9 am.
About the Kidney Walk
The Kidney Walk is presented by the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona which many consider the voluntary health agency, in Arizona, that seeks solutions, through education, prevention and treatment, for kidney and even urinary tract diseases. Their commitment includes improving Arizona’s residents’ quality of life who live with kidney failure. It also includes community kidney health education and how to prevent chronic kidney disease. The NKF AZ also advocates for organ donation.
“Kidney health is very near and dear to my heart. My father has Stage 3 chronic kidney disease and has had one kidney removed,” said attorney Kevin Rowe. "Through education, the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona is doing everything in their power to help. It is a pleasure to help an organization that teaches such valuable lessons to our community."
Funds raised by Lerner and Rowe, and other sponsors for the Kidney Walk directly support local kidney patients as well as transplant recipients. The proceeds also go to support community outreach and educational programs including free screenings to those at the largest risk of developing CKD.
