2018 Tire Rack One Lap of America Preview
PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) May 04, 2018 -- The 2018 Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine will begin it's 35th anniversary event this Saturday, May 5th, at Tire Rack's headquarters in South Bend, Indiana. From that point through Saturday, May 12, the competitors will complete this years route which includes 12 racetracks and transit drives totaling over 3700 miles.
This year brings a packed field with some notable entries. Travis Pastrana, Andy Pilgrim, Big Chris Smith and Victor Bell will prove to be tough competition for the 85 teams entered in this years event.
The manufacturers have also brought their "A" game, with some great machinery from Toyota, Subaru, Dodge and BMW. They will need it to keep pace with the hardware the more seasoned competitors are running. Entries such as Andy and Ann Hollis in a McLaren 520S, a slew of Z06's and Team Dubler in their venerable Chevy HHR SS's.

Speaking of vehicles, the One Lap of America Staff is excited to ride around in the new KIA Stinger GT's and Sorrento's for the week.
Coverage of the event will be even more immersive than last year with daily live streams sponsored by Toyota with host Bryan Humphries. Be sure to tune in every morning about 15 minutes before the green flag drops to join Bryan for the grid walk.
