2019 Tire Rack One Lap of America Preview, Schedule and More
The Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine starts tomorrow and runs through May 11th. Come join in the excitement with your family and friends, in-person or online.
PHILADELPHIA, May 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 2019 Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine will begin it's 36th anniversary event this Saturday, May 4th, at Tire Rack's headquarters in South Bend, Indiana. From that point through Saturday, May 11th, the competitors will complete this years route which includes 12 racetracks and transit drives totaling over 3700 miles.
This year brings a packed field of 100 teams with some notable entries. Travis Pastrana, Blake "Bilko" Williams, Mike Musto and Reg Noble to name a few.
The manufacturers have also brought their "A" game, with some great machinery from Toyota, Subaru and Dodge. They will need it to keep pace with the hardware the more seasoned competitors are running. Entries such as Andy and Ann Hollis in a McLaren 720S, former overall winners Robert Thorne and Christopher Lewis in an event winning Nissan GTR, Rosso Toro Racing's Lamborghini Huracan Performante and the 2003 Honda Accord of Seth Lemke, Timothy Miller and Pete Lindberg.
