New Assisted Living and Memory Care Community to Open in Noblesville
BRADLEY, Ill. (PRWEB) April 09, 2019 -- A VIP Preview Party and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony will be held for Heritage Woods of Noblesville, a new assisted living and memory care community for older adults that is expected to open later this month.
The event will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 at the community, which is located at 9600 E. 146th Street in Noblesville. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 5 p.m.
This $25 million development was designed for seniors who need some help to maintain their independence.
“We will be providing older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” said Heritage Woods Administrator John Robison.
The four-story, 105,000 square-foot building will house 124 private studio and one-bedroom apartments.
The community will combine residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, medication administration, and a variety of convenience and support services, such as meals, housekeeping, laundry and transportation.
Residents will live in private apartments that they furnish and decorate to their tastes. Each of the apartments will feature a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning and an emergency alert system.
In addition, Heritage Woods will have a large community room, a private dining room, sun rooms, walking paths in beautifully landscaped courtyards, a library, computer lounge, onsite general store and other amenities.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, will be on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"Residents also will benefit from all of the opportunities that will be available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special programs," says Robison.
Part of the community – White Oaks at Noblesville – will be dedicated to memory care, catering to older adults with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. This specialized program will provide opportunities for residents to maintain a sense of purpose and belonging throughout the seasons of dementia.
“We focus on abilities rather than limitations because we understand that as we age our hearts, hopes and desires do not,” said Rod Burkett, CEO of Gardant Management Solutions, the company that will manage the property.
Residents in the memory care community will be able to take advantage of a hobby hut, which features several activity areas and living room lounges, a separate salon, covered patio areas to relax in, cozy fireplaces in living areas and a large café near an enclosed walking path.
Heritage Woods will further expand Gardant’s mission of providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the help with medications and personal assistance they need, Burkett added.
When fully occupied, the community will provide 78 full-time and part-time jobs. Annual payroll with benefits is projected to be $2 million.
Heritage Woods of Noblesville and White Oaks of Noblesville will be certified to operate through the Division of Aging and regulated by the Indiana State Department of Health.
