Breezio, a leading provider of community engagement and collaboration software, is welcoming to its executive leadership team, Benjamin Muscolino as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Ben Muscolino has joined the organization as CEO following the transition of outgoing CEO Karen McCord on to Breezio’s Board of Directors. Ben has a long history of successfully working within and running technology companies, most specifically in the nonprofit and member-based technology markets. After rising through the ranks at one of the industry leading association management software (AMS) companies, Ben went on to found and co-found a series of product and services companies all with a relentless focus on team building, customer loyalty and innovation mostly around nonprofit and association technology.

“I am thrilled to be taking on the challenge of competing with some very good companies in our space,” shared Muscolino. “The road ahead will be a lot of work, but with the right team and the amazing customers Breezio has already partnered with, I believe we can really build something special while redefining how organizations and companies use community”.

The organization is entering what they describe as a growth-phase and believe that Muscolino’s humble leadership, experience building teams and savvy related to understanding market strategy is exactly what is needed to take the company forward to new heights.

"The American Society of Plant Biology (ASPB) was awarded the 2018 Excellence in New Communications Award from the Society for New Communications Research of The Conference Board (SNCR) for its Breezio-hosted open online community Plantae.org; we couldn't have achieved this accolade without Breezio's partnership and willingness to work with us to push innovation in our digital ecosystem", says digital transformation expert Maddie Grant. "We're excited to see where Ben can take the platform and look forward to continuing to be frontrunners in online community strategy together, in ways that help our members thrive--and the association industry too."

Today Breezio is organized into three primary divisions focused on providing enterprise collaboration and community engagement software tools to companies, associations and nonprofits. Over the past year the company has continued to strengthen its product offering through aggressive research and development but also leading in to tighter integrated solutions for customers using industry specific systems to manage their customer, donor and member data. “Integration is key to a great customer or member experience. Data is at the heart of everything and I have a lot of experience connecting the dots and building teams that can help me execute. The x’s and o’s of data integration and setting up the right analytics strategy is what makes the outcomes so much fun to measure and celebrate”, commented Muscolino when asked what top priorities are as the newly appointed CEO.

The company looks forward to sharing more about what is ahead for the organization and promised there would be some small internal wins and exciting new hires in the months to come. To that Muscolino added, “the right team is everything, absolutely everything.. I have a pretty deep bench of talented people around me and company that I keep. I’m going to find the best people to get us where we’re going because that’s what our customers and partners deserve.”
