The 2020 iaedp™ Symposium is slated for March 26-29 at the Omni at ChampionsGate in Orlando. The four-day conference event, now in its 34th year, will deliver the latest in education and research for eating disorders treatment to the nearly 1,000 expected to attend. The four-day conference event, now in its 34th year, will deliver the latest in education and research for eating disorders treatment to the nearly 1,000 expected to attend.
On Sunday, March 29th, the final keynote presentation will offer positive inspiration that promises to deliver on the 2020 theme – A Vision of Hope.
At 8:00 a.m., Dan Tomasulo Ph.D., TEP, MFA, MAPP will deliver the final keynote address for the 2020 Symposium. Honored by Sharecare as one of the top 10 online influencers on the issue of depression, Dan is a core faculty member at the Spirituality Mind Body Institute (SMBI), Teachers College, Columbia University and holds a Ph.D. in psychology, MFA in writing, and a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. He authors the daily column, Ask the Therapist, for PsychCentral.com and developed the Dare to be Happy experiential workshops for Kripalu. His award-winning memoir, American Snake Pit, was released in 2018, and his next book, Learned Hopefulness, will be publish in 2020.
Early registration for the 2020 Symposium is open prior to December 21, 2019. Registration discounts include: for iaedp™ certified members, $650; for members, $700; for non-iaedp™ members, $775; for full-time students, $400; for retired registrants, $400; and for international registrants, $400. Discount rates for groups and one-day registrations also are available. Beginning December 22, 2019, all costs increase by $50. The art competition, "Imagine Me Beyond What You See," which announces the winners during the annual iaedp™ Symposium, will accept entries through December 15, 2019.
