VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 16, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Softlanding demonstrates best-in-class capability and market leadership through demonstrated technology success and customer commitment.
Softlanding, a leading Canadian provider of transformation, professional services and managed IT services that helps organizations boost innovation and drive business value, today announced it has achieved 13 Microsoft Gold Competencies, adding Security, Project and Portfolio Management and, Application Integration to its skillset of expertise.
As a Gold Partner, Softlanding has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and a "best-in-class" ability and commitment to meet Microsoft Corp. customers' evolving needs in today's mobile-first, cloud-first world and distinguishing itself within Microsoft's partner ecosystem.
To earn a Microsoft Gold competency, partners must successfully complete exams (resulting in Microsoft Certified Professionals) to prove their level of technology expertise. They also must submit customer references that demonstrate successful projects, meet a performance (revenue and or consumption/usage) commitment (for most Gold competencies), and pass technology and/or sales assessments.
In addition to the 13 Microsoft Gold Competencies, Sofltanding recently achieved three Advanced Specializations:
- Adoption and Change Management
- Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop
- Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure
Advanced Specializations require a deeper level of commitment than Gold Competencies, including additional certifications, higher performance metrics, client case studies and external, third-party capability audits.
Building a flexible, robust, and secure modern workplace is at the heart of what Softlanding does, leveraging Azure and Microsoft 365 to ensure organizations can enable productivity and collaboration while protecting information, identity and access management, and defend against cyber-security threats.
"We are extremely proud to have added 3 Gold Competencies and additional Advanced Specializations to our growing portfolio of capabilities," said Shaun Roberts, Softlanding's President. "As organizations accelerate their business transformation through the cloud, they need to scale their remote work environment, strengthen their security posture and manage change to stay productive and efficient. For this, they need the right partner and by achieving these additional Gold Competencies and Advanced Specializations, Softlanding further demonstrates its deep technical knowledge and commitment to being a digital transformation strategic partner."
