One of the nation’s leading industrial equipment manufacturers, Scott Equipment Company, was recently re-certified for the Minnesota Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (MNSHARP) award for safety excellence.

Certification is granted after completing a written safety program created by the company and Minnesota OSHA Workplace Safety Consultation.

This award recognizes companies that have achieved a superior level of safety and health programs beyond basic compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, resulting in immediate and long-term prevention of job-related injuries and illnesses.

“Our most valuable assets are our employees,” said Dave Lucas, Scott Equipment President. “Dedication to ensuring our facility is properly equipped and safe is a top priority.”

Scott Equipment Company has been a continuous recipient of the MNSHARP program for the last sixteen years for their New Prague, MN, location.

“We are very proud to receive the MNSHARP recertification,” said Jake Lucas, Production Manager. “Committing to a culture of improved safety and health measures keeps our employees and workspace protected.”

Scott Equipment Company employs over 100 individuals and is a leading manufacturer and global provider of custom processing equipment for the agricultural and industrial markets. 2022 marks our 56th year in business, with manufacturing facilities in New Prague and Arlington, MN.
