When the world went into lockdown in 2020, Campos pursued her calling and launched an illustration career. After participating in Selfmade, a virtual business program by Brit + Co designed to encourage women to dream big and live out their passions, Campos transitioned from a marketing executive to a full-time illustrator.
"When I got the call to bring Pollo to life as the illustrator for this book, I couldn't believe it," said Campos. "It truly takes a village, the guidance I received from mentors like Brit Morin gave me the knowledge to approach this partnership with confidence and fully enjoy the process."
Campos is a first generation Latinx artist with a vibrant playful style. Campos is committed to being inclusive in her storytelling - and hopes that her work will not only spark joy in people's lives but also share the joy of the multicultural experience.
