Cadence Group's Kiji Burston, MBA, IGP and Mary Beth Weaver, CRM, MLS are presenting Conducting Physical Record Inventories in the Midst of a Pandemic on October 18th from 5:00pm – 5:50pm. In the session, Kiji and Mary Beth tackle a world that is increasingly electronic-centric, physical records still exist for many organizations, whether legacy or ongoing collections of information. As such, IG programs must account for and manage these collections – a task made exponentially more difficult during a world-wide pandemic necessitating widespread corporate remote work. This session focuses on ways to conduct inventories of physical records against the constraints imposed by the pandemic, in a lessons learned type of format – for various (unnamed) organizations, what worked, what didn't and how to change on the fly to adapt to unexpected roadblocks.
