It is About Time for One Corporate Giving Platform - Accelerist
Accelerist announces comprehensive CSR platform and planned exponential growth with the appointment of new Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Accelerist, a social good SaaS (Software as a Service) platform supporting companies and nonprofits in their partnership efforts, appointed new C-Suite executives - Margaret Bjork as Chief Revenue Officer (formerly of Benevity and Blackbaud) and Robyn Mendez as Chief Operating Officer (formerly of Tiltify and Blackbaud). These new hires, combined with a recent capital raise led by Golden Section Ventures and acquisition of the Giveworx fundraising platform earlier this summer, are part of a larger strategy to launch the industry's first comprehensive CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) platform.
Corporate Giving increased by nearly 24% from 2020 to 2021, according to the Giving USA 2021 Annual Report. With this immense growth, and the continued pressure from consumers, employees, and investors to invest in purpose, the needs of social responsibility professionals have changed as well.
"As former CSR professionals and fundraisers, we've witnessed the growing frustration around the lack of efficiency and available modern tech solutions that support social impact today," said Accelerist CEO Brittany Hill. "After supporting 100s of the industry's top companies and charities over the last six years, we're thrilled to launch our new platform built to power all aspects of work for 'Purpose People' - made for how they work and give today, not 10 years ago," said Hill. "We're thrilled to bring in additional leadership with more than 45 years in combined social impact experience to well-position Accelerist to support the exponential growth we are witnessing and anticipate into the new year."
The new Accelerist platform empowers both companies and nonprofits to quickly identify partners with aligned social good objectives, raise more from consumers and workforces, better disburse and collect corporate donations, and pairs sophisticated data with proprietary valuation methods for in-depth reporting on the impact a company's social investments have on community, constituents, and bottom line.
"The Accelerist platform differentiates itself from other social impact tech solutions on the market with its data-driven and holistic approach to CSR," says Margaret Bjork, Chief Revenue Officer. "The outcomes and efficiencies witnessed from Accelerist helps our clients prove that their work is a revenue driver and not a cost center, offering them better resources to scale their impact."
"Social impact is becoming more and more important to employees and consumers," said Accelerist Chief Operating Officer, Robyn Mendez. "It is exciting to not only be at the forefront of helping both companies and nonprofits better meet those expectations through data and technology, it is also about time there is one CSR solution to make giving back easier, streamlined and centralized for companies."
