StudyKIK’s mobile applications, also known as study companion apps, highlight how patient-facing technology can act as a motivational tool to enhance patient study adherence and compliance. Tarra Shingler, SVP of Global Business Solutions, will be presenting a poster session on Saturday, November 19 titled ‘Using Digital Technology to Improve Patient Retention and Compliance for Better Clinical Trial Management'. This presentation will illustrate the opportunity that exists when sponsors and sites leverage patient-facing technologies, specifically mobile applications, to facilitate study success. A real-world case study will be discussed detailing how a patient-centric mobile application was able to increase participant engagement resulting in study success.
