The manufacturer updated the RideSafer Travel Vest for better fit and more comfort for children.

The manufacturer of the RideSafer Travel Vest made some updates to the current model, Generation 5. The manufacturer based the updates on customer feedback regarding fit and comfort.

The updates include:

  • expanding the Velcro application area on the shoulder straps to allow adjusting more closely to the child's torso height
  • expanding the Velcro adjustment on the waist strap to allow adjusting more closely to the child's waist size
  • expanding the Velcro area on the crotch strap to allow for more adjustment
  • new Velcro type to reduce pilling and stitching issues on the vest
  • interior fabric replaced with new fabric to reduce pilling
  • neoprene covers over part of the metal clips of the tether strap to reduce heat from hooks

The manufacturer is no longer packaging the neck pillow with the RideSafer vest. It will now be a separate purchase, if so desired.

These changes will improve the usability and comfort for various size children.

These RideSafer updates are being released as new inventory is made for each size and color variation. So far only the small yellow and small black RideSafer Travel Vests have these changes and are available at Safe Ride 4 Kids.

Customers will see these changes on other sizes and colors as they become available in the coming months.
