WRA Architects Receives Dallas ISD CTE Inaugural Level Up Award
WRA Architects is pleased to be the first Dallas ISD CTE industry partner recipient of the 2022/23 "Level Up" Award. Since the beginning of their partnership in 1978, WRA has worked on over thirty DISD design projects. In addition to designing more than 1,300 K-12 projects since 1954, WRA has designed more than 100 CTE facilities.
DALLAS, Nov. 21, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dallas ISD awards their inaugural 2022 CTE Level Up Award to WRA Architects.
WRA Architects is pleased to be the first Dallas ISD CTE industry partner recipient of the 2022/23 Level Up Award. WRA values its partnership with Dallas ISD and enjoys working with students and staff throughout the district. Since the beginning of their partnership in 1978, WRA has worked on over thirty DISD design projects. WRA has attended and volunteered at DISD events and hosted the first DISD high school architectural intern program in 2022.
This year is the first that Dallas ISD has presented the Level Up Award to an industry partner. According to DISD CTE Manager, Janel Humphries:
"The Dallas ISD Career & Technical Education Department is committed to expressing gratitude and recognition of contributions to student success by our key stakeholders. The Dallas ISD CTE Level Up Award was created to recognize our teachers, students, administrators and core business and industry partners who have gone above and beyond in support of CTE.
The recipients of this acknowledgement receive the 'Level Up Award'. The Level Up Award is a larger-than-life graphic that lives with the recipient (on-campus or office) for two weeks for all to see. In addition to the large graphic, recipients will receive a CTE leveling-up T-shirt and award. We believe that when members of our CTE Family understand that they are appreciated they end up doing more than what is expected."
In addition to designing more than 1,300 K-12 projects since 1954, WRA has designed more than 100 CTE facilities. WRA Partner, Michael Holmberg, said "WRA is a long-time partner of Dallas ISD and is excited to continue to work with the district in creating and nurturing career-ready students. WRA Architects is located in Dallas and has been in continuous operation for sixty-eight years as a school design specialist.
