maiData Launches New Off-the-Shelf Telemetry Service for Medical Devices at RSNA.

“maiLink SRM is remarkable because it gives as a new, more clear, more accurate understanding of how our products work in the field,” said John LaViola, CTO of Precision X-ray, Inc. (Madison, CT).

maiData Corporation today announced that it has been accepted into Newchip, an online, global startup accelerator. Empowered by acceptance into Newchip, the Company is launching Gen 2 maiLink SRM software, a leading service platform for manufacturers that dramatically cuts the cost of service. With this release the highly scalable, cloud-based platform now includes a multi-function telemetry capability that feeds real-time data from devices in the field back to the factory. By adding telemetry, maiData has extended maiLink SRM far beyond the original secure remote access solution that was introduced earlier this year.

“Because of Newchip’s select inclusion criteria, maiData’s acceptance further validates our game-changing work in the service space,” said Julian Marshall, CEO of maiData. “Newchip is helping us improve our messaging and internal processes to gain access to capital, now on a global scale.”

maiData will use the scale of the 108th meeting of the Radiological Society of North America to showcase the latest technologies in maiLink SRM to device manufacturers. “Our new maiLink SRM benefits can be game-changing for manufacturers,” Marshall continued. “Companies know they need telemetry. But when they try to build it themselves, the realize the staggering cost of development, scaling, and long-term support. We have addressed those problems so that manufacturers don’t have to.”

maiLink SRM is a family of B2B SaaS products that manufacturers use to monitor, diagnose, and repair device problems in the field. It relays mission-critical data from computer-driven products back to the factory so that a manufacturer’s teams can dig in to learn more.

“maiLink SRM is remarkable because it gives us a new, more clear, more accurate understanding of how our products work in the field,” said John LaViola, CTO of Precision X-ray, Inc. (Madison, CT). “Not only can we learn how our products operate during normal use, but also learn more about how, and how often, our customers use the products. This is new, critical data for us.”

“The maiData team is building the service product I wish we had in the first place,” said Tom Umbel, CEO of Seno Medical, Inc. (San Antonio, TX). “Our internal tools were excellent for us during development, but we are moving to maiLink SRM in order to scale.”

“Companies that don’t implement maiLink SRM are missing a great opportunity,” commented Bob Desrochers, Special Service Advisor to maiData and former Vice President of Field Service for Hologic. “I’ve waited for years for a solution that will give accurate data to my service team and avoid speculation. maiLink SRM adds truth and accuracy to the service equation.”
