The Cleveland School of Cannabis (CSC), one of only two state-approved institutions solely dedicated to cannabis education, has partnered with EzHire Cannabis and its platform to help employers connect with its graduates.

"CSC has that talent in the form of over 600 graduates, and this partnership gives employers immediate access,” said Tyrone Russell, president of the Cleveland School of Cannabis.

The Cleveland School of Cannabis (CSC), one of only two state-approved institutions solely dedicated to cannabis education, has partnered with EzHire Cannabis and its platform to help employers connect with its graduates.

“States come online and glance over the need for a highly trained workforce while they work on regulations of their newly formed industry. What EzHire is doing creates sustainability as they help connect employers with talent. CSC has that talent in the form of over 600 graduates, and this partnership gives employers immediate access,” said Tyrone Russell, president of the Cleveland School of Cannabis.

CSC started in 2017 when its Founder, Austin Briggs, noticed a growing issue in the workforce as it pertained to education and having the ability to verify the knowledge of cannabis industry employees. The school now grants certificates that range from 150 to 300 clock hours, holds a research hemp license for hands-on cultivation, an extraction lab, and a mock dispensary in its 10000 Sq. foot facility.

Jacob Carlson, CEO and Co-Founder of EzHire Cannabis said of the partnership, “Employers are becoming keenly aware of the impact an engaged and knowledgeable staff makes for their bottom line- particularly in the current economic climate. We are excited to partner with CSC and provide their students and graduates with opportunities within the legal cannabis industry. This partnership enables employers and top-talent to connect faster than ever. When that happens, everyone wins- employers, employees, and customers."

EzHire Cannabis is billed as "the Indeed for Weed" focusing on connecting candidates with opportunities in the cannabis industry. Founded in 2019 by former HubSpot employee Jacob Carlson, the proprietary software platform allows candidates to create comprehensive video profiles & search for jobs. With customers spanning every legal cannabis market, EzHire Cannabis' mission is to enable candidates to become more than a resume.

Graduates from the Cleveland School of Cannabis will be welcomed to create a profile specifically linked to the school, where employers will then have access and the ability to review, interview and hire them via the EzHire platform.

“It’s extremely important that we recognize the power of partnerships and collaboration within the cannabis industry. Our graduates expect to have access to the job market to put their education to work, and partnerships help to fill those expectations. We want them to be present in every corner of the market,” remarked Russell.
