BDV Solutions, a tech-enabled, turnkey provider of labor shortage solutions to U.S. employers and employment-based immigration services to foreign nationals, today announced that Josh Miner has joined the firm as vice president of product management.
In this role, Miner will lead the product team in developing, designing and launching new products for BDV as well as for Argo Visa, a subsidiary of BDV composed of former consular officers who prepare international citizens for their U.S. visa interviews.
With nearly 15 years of product experience, Miner brings to BDV a combination of strong communication, technical and business skills and proven leadership. He specializes in becoming an expert on customers and stakeholders and using this insight to deliver products that meet market needs.
“We’re at a pivotal stage in our growth, and bringing people onboard who can help take us to the next level is key,” noted founder and CEO Britt Vergnolle. “Combined with his deep experience in product management, Josh’s previous work in our industry means he understands the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.”
Miner joins BDV from SimpleCitizen, where he served as director of product management. Previously, he was senior product manager at PeopleKeep and has also held product roles with Primary Data, Inc., Fusion-io, Raytheon Oakley Systems and Realm Systems. He holds an executive MBA and an M.A. in English from the University of Utah and a B.A. in English from Westminster College.
Noted Miner, “I was immediately impressed with BDV Solutions' passion and commitment. The company already leads the charge in their mission to simplify immigration while also helping companies address labor shortages. I am looking forward to helping both immigrants and employers with products, including a technology-enabled marketplace, that improve the capability, efficiency, and quality of business.”
BDV Solutions helps source employment for foreign nationals, helping to place them in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, restaurant franchise groups, cleaning and maintenance companies, warehousing, distribution centers and food preparation. The company recently launched its “BDV Believes” scholarship program, which in January will award five foreign nationals $2,000 each to further their education goals.
