Each Saturday, guests are invited to TCL Chinese Theater to be treated to about five short films, trailers, and full features.
"Why wait once a year to be seen and miss all this work in between". - Dave Brown
Patrons of his event have included known actors such as beloved actor Morris Chestnut, director of Boyz In The Hood and Poetic Justice, the late John Singleton, multi-talented entertainer Jamie Foxx, Datari Turner, Robi Reed, and many more. Foxx and Chestnut have been especially key to Dave achieving such great success according to Brown. However, Dave Brown wants it to be crystal clear that artists from all walks of life are welcome to submit their work for a showing.
All are allowed to submit their piece in the form of a web series, commercial, short film or feature film. For Brown, creativity has no boundaries and Indie Night is a testament of just that. The team is looking forward to the projects they will see in the next season.
The Festival is actively seeking sponsors for future events in order to continue to provide an incredible experience and premium features for all filmmakers.
