State Recognized STEM Schools and Celebrated Local Nonprofits to Receive Donation of Backup Power Stations from National Hardware Show Exhibitor, Generark
During the highly anticipated return of the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, reliable, affordable, and renewable home backup energy company Generark is donating a supply of compact generators to key local nonprofits and STEM programs for safety and advancement of education.
LAS VEGAS, April 4, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As companies from all over the country gather for this year's National Hardware Show, first-time exhibitor Generark has identified the city's best nonprofits and state-certified STEM schools to receive a donation of their state-of-the-art, compact generators.
"Whether it's for educational purposes, safety, or convenience, I'm happy to know that we can in some way bolster and support these groups' important efforts," says CEO Anson Liang. "At the end of the day, Generark is about connection through helping one another and working together."
Liang, a family man who founded Generark after a grueling four days without power with a six-month old baby at home, finds it particularly important to help other families. So supplying backup energy solutions to Baby's Bounty–a Las Vegas nonprofit organization that empowers at-risk families by providing the essentials needed to ensure a good start for every baby– and to The Shade Tree–a nonprofit shelter for women, children, and their companion animals–strikes at the heart.
With the donation of Generark's indoor-safe, renewable generators, students at prominent, state-certified STEM schools, including Frank Lamping Elementary, will be able to get hands-on experience with solar. "Donations from the business community can provide a wonderful compliment to the materials we use when teaching STEM curriculum on campus,'' says Frank Lamping Elementary School Principal Robert Solomon. "This donation will assist our students conducting projects outdoors about generating and using power from renewable resources." Roger D. Gehring Academy of Science and Technology, Jim Bridger Middle School, and Lied STEM Academy are also amongst the hand-selected STEM schools who will get the opportunity to take energy harnessing to new heights with Generark's donation.
