Syncfusion Releases New Suite of Controls: Essential Studio 2022 Volume 2
Five new .NET MAUI controls added with other features
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., July 14, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Syncfusion, Inc., the developer solutions company of choice, is pleased to announce its second major release of the year: Essential Studio, 2022 Volume 2. Major highlights for this release include five new controls for its newest platform, .NET MAUI, Ivy compatibility for its Angular packages, and a new control each for its Blazor and WinUI platforms.

Compatibility upgrades
- Syncfusion's React suite is compatible with React 18.
- The file-format libraries are now compatible with .NET 6 in Blazor, .NET MAUI, WinUI, and .NET Core.
- The PDF Library now supports the creation of PDF/A-4 conformance documents and the conversion of PDFs to conforming documents.
.NET MAUI suite includes five new controls:
- DataGrid: Our most popular control, display and manipulate data in a tabular view with data binding, styling, filtering, etc.
- Maps: Display statistical information for a geographical area with highly interactive and customizable features.
- Busy Indicator: A customizable visual representation of action in progress, like an app loading or data processing.
- SignaturePad: Capture smooth and realistic signatures through drawing and save them as images.
- Avatar View: Display initials, images, and gradient colors as users' avatars.
Additionally, the Scheduler control gains support for different calendars like Hebrew and Arabic.
A new Pager control has been added as a preview in the Blazor suite, letting users split data sets into multiple pages that they can then view one at a time. Blazor's Carousel and Diagram components have been brought up to industry standards and are no longer in preview.
The WinUI suite's controls have been upgraded to Windows App SDK 1.1 for this release. The suite also gains a new Shadow control, used to apply shadow effects to framework elements to give them an appearance of depth. WinUI's Word Library now lets users convert Word documents into images.
Essential Studio's JS 2 platforms gained a plethora of useful features and enhancements. Projects' critical paths can now be highlighted in the Gantt Chart component and users can prevent contributors from accepting or rejecting tracked changes in documents in the Word Processor component.
