Executive to help propane industry chart a path for generations to come
SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 14, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Following a comprehensive search and interview process, the Western Propane Gas Association (WPGA), a leading association for clean alternative propane energy, is proud to announce that Colin Sueyres has been selected as the next President and Chief Executive Officer of the 73-year old organization.

Sueyres comes to WPGA with nearly two decades of management and public affairs experience. He most recently served as Director of Government Affairs for a large health care trade association, and has served as a senior staff member to several elected officials, including the Governor of California, members of the State Legislature, and a member of Congress. Sueyres also worked as a consultant to private sector clients and political campaigns.
He received a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and currently serves on the board of the Sacramento Children's Home and as chair of the Arden-Arcade Planning Advisory Council.

Founded in 1949, the Western Propane Gas Association is a trade and membership service organization that represents propane marketers throughout California. The Association's core principles are education and training with the primary purpose to maintain high standards of practice within the industry.
