GREENSBORO, Ga., July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Spray Foam Systems LLC., a leading manufacturer of fluid applicator equipment and mobile spray rigs, announced today the grant of its U.S. Patent No. 11,383,253 entitled "Low Pressure Plural Component Spray System."
This patent describes low pressure application of plural component foams or coatings to structural surfaces using volumetric dispensing systems modified for enhanced materials mixing. The Nitrosys™ Low Pressure System incorporates a unique modification to a plastic spray gun that imparts proper mixing of two part systems.
The patented low-pressure materials delivery system reduces chemical atomization of the plural components at the point of delivery, resulting in reduced chemical exposure to technicians and others present in a jobsite. Re-entry times at sprayed locations are reduced to 2 hours or less. The Nitrosys Low Pressure System is safer for applicators and building owners due to a lower likelihood of exposure to chemicals on the jobsite.
The Nitrosys Low Pressure System sets itself apart from traditional low pressure systems by the use of material supplies stored in standard drums and totes, instead of pressurized cylinders. The Nitrosys Low Pressure System uses a proprietary proportioner configuration to provide end users with preheated materials and on-ratio material mixing that reduces downtime, labor costs, and material waste.
