Yearly Competition Honors Excellence in Creative Writing
CHERRY HILL, N.J., July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Smith Publicity, the leading book marketing firm in the publishing industry, has announced Eve Jensen of New York University (NYU), New York, NY, as the recipient of its 2022 Smith Publicity Scholarship. Jensen is a member of the class of 2023.
Jensen's winning essay, "How Plastic: An Autobiography Can Change the Conversation Around Environmentalism – And Your Life" was selected from hundreds of submissions, and responded to the prompt "Is there a book that you think should be required reading for everyone? Write an essay persuading your audience to read this book."

This year's scholarship amount was increased for the second year in a row; this time from $2,000 to $2,500, and will be applied toward Jensen's tuition costs at NYU. As she plans to pursue a career in writing and publishing, Smith Publicity is honored to be a part of Jensen's journey and believes she will be quite successful in the field.
