Winners of Blueprint Prep's $20,000 Law School Tuition Scholarship Announced
The annual scholarship is part of Blueprint Prep's mission to empower the next generation of lawyers by offering equitable lifelong professional preparation.
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Blueprint Prep, a premier education company specializing in support for lifelong professional advancement and test preparation, is pleased to announce the winners of its 2021 and 2022 law school tuition giveaway. Arianna Wright, the 2021 winner, studies at Washington & Lee University School of Law in Virginia, and Maribel Zetina, the 2022 winner, is completing her undergraduate degree at Southern New Hampshire University and plans to enter law school in 2023.
The scholarship awards one student per year $20,000 that can be used towards law school tuition. Now in its 2nd year, the scholarship is just one of many ways Blueprint Prep is achieving its goal of helping underrepresented students overcome the barriers they face in pursuing legal careers. Having helped over 100,000 LSAT students so far improve their admissions prospects with higher test scores, the company views the tuition scholarship as an important complementary strategy to open opportunities for more students.

Arianna Wright has a background in politics, with an undergraduate degree in political science and an internship on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. with a congressional member of Georgia's 13th district. Her interest in public policy and law in general, along with a close family member's influence, inspired her to apply to law school.
"I've been interested in the law since I was young. I remember hearing stories about my uncle's work—he was an assistant US attorney at one point—and I found them fascinating," says Wright. "I can't believe that all these years later I've been given this amazing opportunity. I intend to take full advantage of the Blueprint Prep scholarship to get my legal career off to a great start."
Maribel Zetina is a mother of two currently completing her Criminology major. While working in the insurance industry, she noticed a pattern of claims being mishandled in ways preventable by sound legal representation. Disturbed by this, she realized that preventing these sorts of injustices and advocating for people in their times of greatest need was how she wanted to spend her life.
Shortly after, she applied to law school, and she describes the process as "exhilarating, draining, and everything in between." But winning the Blueprint Prep scholarship has confirmed to her beyond a doubt that she made the right choice to pursue her dream of a legal career. "It meant everything to me to win," Zetina says. "It completely lit up the path, and there's nothing that's going to stop me now."
With many other talented students waiting in the wings for a chance to fulfill their potential, Blueprint Prep is refining its existing solutions and looking for new ways to give aspiring lawyers the support they need. Blueprint Prep plans to open the application process for next year's law school tuition scholarship sometime in the first quarter of 2023.
