Industry veteran Mark Allen has been promoted to President of AutoAp., Inc. In his new role he will take on additional leadership and operational responsibilities, continue to develop additional integration partnerships and bring innovative services to market
BEAVERTON, Ore., Jan. 17, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Recalls as a Service company AutoAp, Inc. has promoted Mark Allen to President. Allen was most recently Executive Vice President – Business Development, leading several company initiatives including sales and industry integration partnership development. The announcement was made by AutoAp founder and CEO Mark Paul.
AutoAp provides software services to help auto dealerships increase profitability, decrease liability and reduce customers' and drivers' risks by automating recall management. In his nearly two years with AutoAp, Allen has helped forge several integration partnerships with leading automotive retail technology organizations, significantly increasing AutoAp's presence in the industry.
"Mark Allen has done an incredible job developing key auto industry partnerships and the Board of Directors looks forward to continuing our triple-digit growth in his new role," Paul said. "He will take on additional leadership and operational responsibilities, continue to develop additional integration partnerships, and increase our market share by helping leading dealer groups and bringing innovative services to market for our current and potential clients."
At any given time, nearly 20-25% of all vehicles on the road have unrepaired open recalls. Most of these vehicles (15% to 20%), often unknown to the dealer, end up on the sales lot. Consumers are overwhelmingly more likely to purchase vehicles from – and refer others to – dealerships with an automated process to identify and manage vehicle safety recalls versus one that does not (95% versus 5%), according to the recent AutoAp research report Consumer Transparency Expectations.
"Dealerships, and technology companies that serve dealerships, benefit from AutoAp's safety recall services - the most accurate and timely in the industry," Allen said. "I'm proud of the fact that we not only help dealerships ensure the safety of their customers, grow their revenue and profitability and avoid liability, but we are helping society by providing information that can be used to repair potentially dangerous vehicles sooner and look forward to taking an even greater role in helping bring these important technologies to the industry."
AutoAp launched its Dynamic Recall Management (DRMSM) service in 2015 to help dealerships, rental car companies and fleet managers better manage automotive safety recalls. In addition to its DRM service, dealer clients can make more profitable acquisition decisions, obtain on-demand insights into financial and liability impacts safety recalls have on their operations and generate additional revenue from their customers' vehicles through other on-demand services including business intelligence, especially important to dealer groups, AutoAp said. Clients can save time and money by automating cumbersome manual and error-prone systems.
