Professor Jung is the Walter and Shirley Wang Chair of Medicinal Drug Discovery in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a member of the National Academy of Inventors and a leading authority on synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry. His transformative contributions to Prostate Cancer therapy have been honored with the American Association for Cancer Research Award for Outstanding Achievement in Chemistry in Cancer Research in 2019 and the American Association for Cancer Research Team Science Award in 2015.
