Hydra Technologies to present new defence solution at its home trade show in Mexico City.
MEXICO CITY, April 20, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Partnering with strategic allies in three continents, and involving the most sophisticated concepts in the industry, Hydra Technologies is presenting several highly innovative solutions as part of this year's FAMEX exhibition in Mexico City. The battle proven S45 Baalam unmanned aerial system, in its successful intelligence surveillance reconnaissance and targeting solutions, as well as its weaponized optional version is part of the Hydra offer to the defense and security market exhibited in the Mexican capital this week. As well as its new S50 Kukulkan platform (a development of the S45 platform), a medium altitude and long endurance aircraft, and its recent line of kinetic systems.
Hydra recently expanded its product line to include kinetic systems that can operate in a multitude of environments as unique solutions. The M40 Bluefish is a long-range attack UAV that is capable of flight in GPS-denied areas at speeds higher than 150 kts. This fire and forget system delivers users effective and precise long-range capabilities. Along with the M40, Hydra has launched its own lineup of loitering munitions (LMs) within the HUUL family. These systems can be operated as ground to ground, or air to ground, to facilitate and provide operational flexibility. The HUULs can carry between .6 – 1.5 kg of payload and have an endurance of 5 minutes and a 6 km range on its own power. Finally, the Silent Strike serves as Hydra's free-falling munition. Its simplest offering to date, the munition can carry a payload of up to 4 kg, and a top speed of over 200 kts. It can be adapted or retrofitted to many active unmanned systems, has a maximum effective range of 20 km and can be GPS or LD guided.
For FAMEX, the company will unveil a novel multidomain defense system that will create a cohesive offering for end users. The solution will focus on Hydra's new kinetic aircrafts and will join them with its tested surveillance and reconnaissance unmanned models.
"We will unveil interesting new capabilities during FAMEX that can offer the international market a multipurpose and flexible solution that can defeat most air defense systems through the use of combined assets of diverse nature," said Ivan Vazquez, a commercial executive for Hydra Technologies. Hydra Technologies has been intrinsic with Latin America's aerospace and defense industry, serving several end users in the area. The issues plaguing the region have forged Hydra's systems into proven solutions for military and civilian applications that are unrivaled in dependability and usability in the marketplace.
