Blueprint Vegas and Women in Construction Tech Partner to Create Women’s Lunch
NEW YORK (PRWEB) July 13, 2023 -- Blueprint Vegas has announced that it will host a Women’s Lunch to celebrate women in real estate and construction in partnership with Women in Construction Tech (WCT) at 12:30 pm on Wednesday September 13th, 2023, at The Venetian.
Blueprint Vegas is the premier event that brings together real estate and construction executives, top venture investors, cutting edge startups and technology leaders that strive to find solutions to critical real estate and construction disruptions, and identify key breakthrough technologies. As DEI initiatives have gained steam across companies in the real estate and construction ecosystems, it has become clear how vital women are to the industry — and how vital it is for Blueprint to work with the community to highlight their achievements and encourage further growth in this area.
"For those businesses that delve deeper into DEI, the benefits for both employees and the employer are tangible, and the ROI is real," wrote Fortress CEO Kerri Davis in a recent Forbes article. "The commercial real estate and proptech industries, specifically, should take a closer look at the value of DEI and its implementation." She noted that women currently only occupy 36.7% of the roles in the CRE industry, a percentage that has seen little change over the past 15 years. In the construction industry women make up roughly only one in ten of the workers according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics but this number has been growing.
The Women’s Lunch in Partnership with Women in Construction Tech will be moderated by the WCT Co-Founders Julieta Moradei and Antonia Elisa Soler Blasco. Moradei was previously a Founding Member at Hometeam Ventures and Soler Blasco is currently a Director at Hilti Venture.

They will be joined on the stage by three formidable female leaders: Sasha Reed, Senior Director of Strategic Business Development from Procore Technologies, the leading construction management platform. Jessica Herrala, GM, North America of Buildots, an exciting AI based technology for the construction site and Pooja Jain, Senior Vice President, Strategic Innovation for WSP, one of the leaders in planning, design and construction management. Together they will explore the hurdles and opportunities women have ahead of them in both the real estate and construction sectors which have traditionally been male-dominated.
