Opus Interactive, leading cloud hosting and colocation solutions provider, today announced that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). The certification and extensive audit process were performed by A-LIGN and conform to globally recognized information security standards.

Established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the ISO 27001 standard is a specific set of guidelines that helps organizations increase reliability, security, and business resilience. The scope and boundaries of the ISMS apply to the information technology services and solutions provided to Opus Interactive customers. Opus business activities utilized by customers include IaaS, colocation, managed services, connectivity, DRaaS, monitoring, virtual desktop, object storage, and virtual dedicated servers.

Opus previously underwent a broad set of security best practices, including HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SSAE 18 SOC2 and regional data regulatory controls. The newly achieved ISO certification confirms the hosting and colocation provider’s continuing commitment to the security, confidentiality, and high availability of its services.
