Drug Director Boyce Hamlet to Speak at Ideal Option Open House

All are welcome to come to the Open House to learn more about medication-assisted treatment for addiction on Wednesday, February 15, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Ideal Option, a national leader in outpatient medication-assisted treatment for opioids, methamphetamine, alcohol and polysubstance, will host an open house at their clinic in Springdale at 2112 W Huntsville Ave, Ste. B. The event will kick off with an opening address from newly appointed Arkansas Drug Director Boyce Hamlet.

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, substance use and overdose deaths skyrocketed across Arkansas. According to the AR Opioid Dashboard, in Washington County alone, overdose deaths increased by 79% from 2020 to 2021.

Ideal Option data from 2021 show 44% of patients in Arkansas tested positive for multiple substances at enrollment, most commonly opioids and methamphetamine.

On Wednesday, February 15, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., all members of the community are invited to attend the Open House at Ideal Option’s clinic in Springdale located at 2112 W Huntsville Ave, Ste. B.

During the open house, attendees can enjoy refreshments and learn more about the services provided by Ideal Option, tour the facility, meet expert staff and pick up materials.
