Eventique Honored With Five Awards In The 2023 BizBash Event Experience Awards

Production + Creative Agency Kicks off 2023 with Big Wins at the EEA’s. Finalist of Ten and Winner of Five Prestigious BizBash Awards. Eventique’s production of the music x NFT art festival Dreamverse takes three BizBash Event Experience Awards for Best Festival, Best Reimagined Event Experience, and Best Use of Special Effects, and TikTok’s End of Year Celebration hosted by Lil Jon takes Best Virtual Experience and Best Virtual Team Building Activity for the second year in a row.

BizBash, North America’s number one resource for event industry trends, ideas, and inspiration, has announced its 10th Annual BizBash Event Experience Award winners. Spotlighting the most inspiring meeting and event ideas, strategies, products and technology from planners, producers, agencies and brands, the awards were given to entries that demonstrated innovation and creativity, quality of execution, effectiveness, and an overall influential impact on the industry.

Metapurse, the fund that specializes in unique NFT artworks who paid a record-breaking $69 million for Beeple’s “Everydays: The First 5000 Days,” commissioned Eventique to co-create and produce Dreamverse. Billed as a music, art, and technology experience that took place during NFT.NYC in November 2021, the festival, held at Terminal 5 in Manhattan, featured performances by Alesso, Stretch Armstrong, and a plethora of NFT artists including Beeple.

Eventique’s Vice President of Strategy + Creative, Eric Wielander, responsible for overseeing Dreamverse, says “The greatest gift of Dreamverse was for all the fans in the room that night. To date, it was the only time that Beeple sanctioned an interpretation of his heralded ‘Everydays: The First 5000 Days’ in a live setting. We turned a digital artist into a headlining act for five minutes and thirteen seconds in a once-in-a-lifetime performance that will probably never be seen again.”

Wielander, who also oversaw TikTok’s End of Year Celebration, lamented on the technology company’s wins in the same category for two consecutive years. “What I’ve seen TikTok give back to its employees speaks to the app’s ethos of inspiring creativity. I truly hope that imagining a subway system that connects a half dozen North American offices with Lil Jon as your conductor and making stops to play virtual games with your fellow colleagues, does not get overlooked as virtual events just being a thing of the past.”
