Scott Crawford named new President and General Manager of AKJ Education, a Baltimore, MD-based wholesaler serving libraries/schools with quality educational materials

With more than 25 years of experience in the educational book and content distribution space, including various leadership roles at Baker & Taylor, Crawford will lead AKJ Education, managing sales, marketing, collection development and curation, customer services, publisher relationships and supply chain for K-12 schools. Prior to that role, he spent five years working closely with the Follett School Solutions division while Baker & Taylor was owned by Follett. Scott also spent eight years as the Vice President and General Manager of collectionHQ, a Glasgow, Scotland, based library analytics SaaS platform. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, serves on the Board of the Phoenix Public Library Foundation and is a member of the American Library Association and the Public Library Association.
