FyberX Appoints Hemp Industry Veteran and Legal Professional as General Counsel
Marty Clemons, an attorney and hemp industry veteran, has joined the FyberX team as General Counsel.
DANVILLE, Va., March 23, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- FyberX, a natural fiber product innovation and technology platform company, is pleased to announce that Marty Clemons has joined the FyberX team as General Counsel.
Marty has been working to build the industrial hemp industry in North Carolina and the Southeast since 2015. She served as the President of the North Carolina Industrial Hemp Association and eventually Chair of the Board. Marty became Chair of the Board of the Southeast Hemp Association. She has participated in multiple federal lobbying trips to Washington, D.C.
She is a partner of the Industrial Hemp Summit, a multi-stakeholder B2B collaboration designed to bring together people working to build a professional U.S. hemp industry collaboratively.
Marty identified the need to create consumer demand for U.S.-grown organic hemp, so she launched The Good & True, a U.S.-grown organic hemp protein powder + superfoods company sourcing from farms on the journey to becoming regenerative.
Marty was on the Advisory Board for FyberX when the opportunity to join the FyberX team arose.
