BenQ announces new ZOWIE EC-CW wireless mouse for Esports
Players can now experience cable-free mobility with more transmission resistance interference.
COSTA MESA, Calif., April 28, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ZOWIE is excited to announce the release of their highly-anticipated first series of wireless mice built for esports.
With this release, ZOWIE conducted extensive research to enhance the connection stability. Players can now experience cable-free mobility with more transmission resistance interference. Each wireless mouse comes with a unique standalone enhanced wireless receiver and antenna at the front tip. This combination will decrease the chances of unexpected transmission interference that is often an issue with other wireless mice.
ZOWIE decided to use their EC series as the first wireless mice shape, since it is a favorite among fans with the asymmetrical, ergonomic design. The EC shape features a natural curvy top shell design that provides a relaxing support to fit your palm, especially when doing long-distance horizontal movement in game titles such as CS: GO. The shape helps provide control when maneuvering and lifting the mouse. EC's classic shape has minimal palm contact and can accommodate different grip styles with comfortable posture.
The development team at ZOWIE conducted extensive, sports science research and found that the EC-CW mice shape allows players to easily click the buttons with their fingers. The side buttons are purposefully placed to avoid accidental clicks and allows players to rest their thumbs comfortably. The EC-CW's smooth and seamless design eliminates any discomfort often caused by jagged edges or protrusions. Studies suggest that the curvy top design allows players to naturally rest their palms in a comfortable position which ensures endurance.
The EC-CW wireless mouse is now available in 3 different sizes: EC1 (large), EC2 (medium), and EC3 (small). For those who require more vertical movements during gameplay, the EC3 might be the preferred choice since the overall length is shorter compared to the rest. The weight and overall click feeling of the wireless version is like the C version mouse, even though there are slight differences due to different interior design structures between wired and wireless versions.
