Wasserman Alum & Veteran Athlete Agent Reimagines Talent Management Experience
LOS ANGELES, May 1, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For Us, By Us Sports Management (FUBU), a full service, all-inclusive talent agency led by veteran agent and Wasserman alum Yulin Olliver, officially launches to represent traditionally under-represented professional athlete groups. Olliver is one of the few female agents in professional action sports who has tirelessly advocated to get everyone a seat at the table in a community that has traditionally been crowded by men.
A former professional snowboarder, Olliver is celebrated as a pioneer who helped pave the way for women street skateboarders when few were given a chance only a decade ago.
She has been at the helm of the world's best skateboarders and snowboarders from around the globe, including back-to-back SLS world champion and icon Leo Baker, Olympic silver medalist Queralt Castellet, Olympic snowboarder Mitsuki Ono, Olympian and two-time X Games gold medalist Mariah Duran, Olympian & X Games bronze medalist Bryce Wettstein, pro skateboarder Samarria Brevard and more.

Most recently, in 2023, Olliver achieved a career-high in what is believed to be an industry first on the basis of gender identity inclusion, when she successfully spearheaded and implemented an unprecedented deal with General Motors/Chevrolet featuring Leo Baker. Other noteworthy deals in her career include Mercedes-Benz, Gucci, P&G, Venus/Gillette, Trident, Lacoste, Amazon, adidas, Converse, New Balance, Nike and more. With Nike, she worked on Nike SB's first-ever women's skateboarding shoe and secured the first non-binary personality in a video game with Baker – the iconic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game. Her credits also include executive producer with her latest film "FABRIC," now available on Apple TV, Prime Video and Red Bull TV.
Prior to her time with Wasserman Media Group, Olliver founded a women-run agency in 2014 to identify and manage emerging talent in women's professional skateboarding. In 2018, she also co-founded and launched the first-ever Skate Exchange event in Japan, showcasing the top women skateboarders in the world gathering for the first time to visit the soon-to-be Olympic host city of Tokyo. Olliver's foresight and intention created community, equity and public interest prior to the 2020 Olympic Games.
