The program has helped launch the careers of many talented artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their work and connect with potential buyers and art enthusiasts.
RICHARDSON, Texas, May 11, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Neighborhood Credit Union proudly presented five high school seniors with scholarship money at the 20th Annual Emerging Artist Program on April 11, 2023. The People's Choice Award and Best in Show were presented to Helen Levy from JJ Pearce High School. Second Place was given to Adam Teffera from Berkner High School, and Third Place was given to Emily Stansfield from JJ Pearce High School. Two Honorable Mentions were also selected, Esmerelda Hernandez from Richardson High School and Miranda Torres from JJ Pearce High School.
This program recognizes the talent of young local artists and offers them the opportunity to be a part of an international award-winning fine art festival each May. This innovative and resourceful program mentors students in the art world, encouraging them to express themselves artistically and learn the exhibit process.
