MedReality Partners with Clarkson College 3D Printing and Training Center
MedReality and Clarkson College 3D Printing and Training Center have entered into a partnership with the goal of increasing access to innovative 3D visualization technologies in health care.
CHICAGO, May 12, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MedReality and Clarkson College 3D Printing and Training Center have entered into a partnership with the goal of increasing access to innovative 3D visualization technologies in health care.
The agreement brings together the MedReality 3D suite from Thyng LLC used for visualizing real world medical cases, and expertise at the Clarkson College 3D Printing and Training Center in 3D reconstruction, 3D printing and patient education.

Ms. Kauzlarich and the team used the MedReality 3D viewer for a recent case to help educate the patient. The model was used to show the current diagnosis of the hearts outflow tracts and relation to the Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). Color coordination helped surgeons explain the VSD and its location to other structures, thus, showing that an intracardiac baffle procedure could potentially be the way to repair.
