Aftermath to award $15,000 in grants to law enforcement and first-responder agencies across the U.S. for K9 units

For its 11th consecutive year, Aftermath Services will offer $15,000 in grants to law enforcement and first-responder agencies across the country to help with the costs associated with creating, running, and maintaining a K9 unit. The 2023 Aftermath K9 Grant registration period will run from May 17 to May 24, and is open to any law enforcement or first-responder agency in the United States. Starting on May 25, communities nationwide will have the opportunity to vote for the agency they feel deserves the grant, with the winners being announced on June 7.

Votes can be cast once daily online at, on Instagram (@aftermathk9grant), and on Facebook (@aftermathcares).

The grant competition's schedule is as follows:

  • Registration Period: May 17-24, 2023
  • Voting Period: May 25 - June 5, 2023
  • Winners Announced: June 7
