Jon Kramer Named ACEC of Michigan Section President
LIVONIA, Mich., May 31, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- OHM Advisors, an award-winning community advancement firm, is pleased to announce that its president Jon Kramer, PE, was named president of the Michigan Section of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
Kramer joined the community advancement firm as a 19-year-old intern and has held numerous leadership positions—including VP of Engineering and OHM's first-ever COO—before being named president of the architecture, engineering, and planning firm in January 2021.
Jon's appointment to the firm's board of directors in 2009 made him the youngest board member since the firm's founding in 1962, and he earned another 'first' as youngest president when he was named OHM's president in January 2021.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Jon is an exceptional leader and a master of big-picture growth, having overseen OHM's multistate operations, including 18 offices and almost 700 mission-driven employees. Under Jon's big-picture, forward-thinking leadership, the firm substantially and consistently grew both the local client base and firm revenue – continuing its climb on Engineering News-Record's prestigious Top 500 Design Firms List. As a result, OHM Advisors was awarded the 2020 ACEC/Michigan Firm of the Year designation – which it also won in 2013.
Jon's extensive commitment to ACEC/Michigan members grew alongside his corporate responsibilities, having served ACEC/Michigan's board of directors in several governance roles before taking the reins as 2023/2024 president. He is most excited about applying his deep-rooted passion in a greater capacity to support the Section's efforts that allow Michigan residents to drink clean water, travel safely and efficiently, visit state and local parks, and carry out business in safe public and private buildings.
