360Civic announced a program that would provide an advanced, easy-to-launch website to any school or school district, at no cost for the first year.

“The pandemic has forced schools to do more with less,” said Ron Zayas, co-founder of 360Civic. “At the same time, school websites are being taxed like never before with increased traffic as a result of online learning, and the need to keep students and parents informed about COVID-related updates. Honor Roll sites provide advanced features to address these challenges.

“By furnishing these high-quality Honor Roll websites at no cost, we hope to give schools and school districts one less thing to worry about as they approach the fall semester.”

Honor Roll websites will be provided with no startup costs, no hosting costs, and no monthly costs of any kind. 360Civic will create a custom design for each site, transfer all existing content from the school’s previous site, and provide training for school personnel, as well as hosting, security monitoring and regular updates for a full year.

Standard yearly costs begin after one year, by which time each school will have already saved on setup and content migration. Schools also have the option to cancel, and will not be billed for the year of site use.

“While this is an opportunity to demonstrate all of the conveniences and functionality our sites provide, our main objective is to help schools during this unprecedented moment,” Zayas said. “It is our way of giving back to those who do so much for our children, our families and our communities.”
