Top Flight MMA Teen Competition Team Wins 3 Expert Division Belts at the NAGA Grappling Tournament in PA
Belcamp, Maryland (PRWEB) February 03, 2014 -- To start off the 2014 BJJ grappling competition season Top Flight MMA sent their teens competition team to Broomall Pa for the worlds largest grappling competition, the NAGA Grappling Tournament. 2013 was an exemplary year for Top Flight MMA as they won more 1st place medals and championship belts than any other team or gym in the Harford County and Cecil County Maryland area.This NAGA tournament provided a great test and a kick start for another stellar year full of championship medals and belts.
Jordan Stewart, an honor student at Aberdeen High School, won the No gi expert division making it his 4th grappling championship belt he has won in a year.
Valentine Nagovich, an honor student senior at North East High School, won the gi expert division making it his 1st championship belt he has won.
Sebastion Nagovich, younger brother to Valentine and North East Middle honor roll student, won double gold in the gi and no gi division. This was Nagovich's debut to the competition grappling scene.
Gabriel Bacastow, of North Harford middle school, won 3rd place in the no gi division and 1st in the gi division. In his championship match , Bacastow cemented his victory with a triangle choke.
Nigel Smothers, of Edgewood High School, won double silver in the gi and no gi divisions
Sephen Smothers, of Edgewood Middle School, won his 1st expert championship belt in the expert gi division.
