4medica ® today announced that Jorge Nobregas, CCVT, RDCS has been appointed Senior Vice President of Sales to lead national sales initiatives targeting accountable care organizations (ACOs), health information exchanges (HIEs), health system and hospital-based labs, and commercial labs.
In this newly created position, Nobregas will direct 4medica’s sales team spearheading strategic sales development, market and competitive analysis and innovative sales strategy implementation for the company’s clinical interoperability, big data management and laboratory revenue cycle management solutions.

A 30-year health IT industry veteran, Nobregas started his career in clinical cardiology earning three clinical cardiology credentials. He spent nearly a decade with Orion Health, Inc., leading profitable growth of big data SaaS solutions providing analytics, population health, health information exchange, and integration engine capabilities. Most notably, Nobregas was part of the sales team that grew the company from 100 employees and $50 million in annual revenue to more than 1,200 employees, $150 million in annual revenue and in over 30 countries.
Nobregas also served in sales executive leadership positions at Siemens Healthineers, Discharge 1-2-3 for emergency department clinical systems, National Digital Medical Archive, Initiate Systems, Sentillion and Siemens.

Nobregas earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Florida International University in Miami. He is a registered cardiac sonographer accredited by the American Association of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and has obtained the Series 6 and Series 66 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
