ImagineThenVote.com is sponsoring a Singing Video contest for the people singing the songs on their website to get out the vote in 2018. Criteria for $50K prize are size of crowd and setting.

ImagineThenVote.com is now sponsoring the third of three grassroots musical contests to get out the vote in the 2018 midterm elections. The prizes in this part of the contest are $50,000 and $18,000. The rules are on the website imaginethenvote.com

The project is meant to encourage people to vote by creating large and small crowds singing the songs that on the Song and Video sections of the website, which were selected from hundreds of submissions to the first two contests of the project - 1. Songwriting and 2. Videos using the winning songs. For the third contest, the Singing Video contest, lyrics, chord charts and backing tracks are provided for many of the songs.

The large $50,000 prize is meant to encourage large crowds to come together to sing these songs in public. The criteria for the prize are size of crowd and setting. The ability to get press and social media coverage is a plus.The $18,000 prize is meant to encourage many groups of four or more people to sing one or more of the songs.
